Rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the city.
I was really disappointed with the cleanliness standards, as I noticed ants in the bathroom and room, which was quite unsettling. The breakfast was incredibly bland, lacking variety and heating options, with cold sausages and stale foods that did not make for a pleasant start to the day.

Kafkas Hotel sits right in the heart of the city. Just a quick walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The rooftop breakfast served a stunning view of the Bosphorus. Rooms seemed clean and renovated, making for a cozy stay. Staff greeted me with water upon my arrival, which felt welcoming. I did encounter noise issues from the trams outside – sleep sometimes felt disrupted. Breakfast lacked variety and was the same each morning, which could improve with some fresh options. The lift was a tad cramped, but manageable. Some appliances needed attention, like the mini fridge that didn’t work well. Despite some inconveniences, I loved the location and vibe of the area around the hotel.

The room left much to be desired, lacking basic items like a teapot and coffee facilities. I faced significant noise from the street, especially from trams, disrupting sleep. bathroom maintenance issues and variable water temperature made things inconvenient and uncomfortable. The breakfast variety was quite limited, leaving little to look forward to each morning. Overall cleanliness seemed to miss the mark, which didn't help the experience at all.

Recommend it for location seekers
The location was unbeatable, a short stroll and you're at the gates of historical gems like the Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque. Had a moment on the rooftop terrace for breakfast, the view of the Bosphorus was stunning, felt like royalty.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable for what you get.
